Taco Cancun Mexican Grill - Wasilla

Tacos Cancun rivals my favorite burrito places in the Southwest but with much better steak. The tortilla is good. The atmosphere is great. The horchata is the best. Service has been over and above.

The food was excellent, but what really impressed me was the service. Everyone, from the cashiers to the bus staff, was welcoming and friendly.

We went to Taco Cancun when they first opened it was just OK I could tell they really cared about the food and what they were doing but were still trying to figure everything out...This last time we went it was absolutely delicious!! My wife and I shared the Carne asada Steak plate with a lingua torta on the side both were to die for... We always judge a Mexican restaurant for there rice and beans and these both were very good! We will for sure be back...Our only complaint was we got the fresh Tortillas as a side and they Steamed in the foil and stuck together than fell apart trying to peel them from each other... besides that everything was very good...

This is some of the best Mexican food I've ever tasted, and I've tried it in many places across the country. I never would have imagined that Alaska would have one of the top Mexican restaurants in the country. The shrimp tacos are a must-try!

This breaks my heart to write, but I've been disappointed with my orders the past few months. Today's nachos especially were mostly a plate of empty chips with hardly the usual pico. The cheese may be different, as well. Sometimes it feels like takeout orders don't get the same attention dine-in orders do, and as a parent of littles that's frustrating. I really hope next time is better and I can correct this review.
