Contribuisci feedbackWe were there already in December 2014 and had enjoyed a wonderful, special evening thanks to the first class kitchen. it was our 2nd high-time day and should be something very special. we have not seen the money, order a really great 4-course menu, a bottle of red wine, a large bottle of water, 2 grappa and last a glass wine and a glass beer to finish a beautiful evening. the table was ordered 19 o'clock, at 20.45 o'clock the waiter made the music, turned out at 21 o'clock the heating and cleared the tables loudly. it was unmistakable that he wanted to do it. I had just got my wee and wanted a glass. when the glass was half empty at 21.10 o'clock (I hastened before inconvenience) asked my man about the bill. the waiter has not even made himself the effort to stay friendly and said in the wise who left, but also time! we were unconstitutional. When he came with the bill, we talked to him, not a word of excuse. it has been closed since 21 o'clock (with open tab is open until 22 o'clock) he has his specifications. they could have said kindly that they would like to close, but so be thrown on a bill of 150,00€ and not even apologize that the kitchen does not do well and that was very good. when the Visa/EC device was also defective, the waiter was again patty, nervous and unfriendly. we wanted to come back with our friends and our parents. I'd be ashamed. we will never come back to this restaurant! I wasn't even treated so badly in the last pommesbude. we understand that it is unprofitable to host a table with 2 people if there are no other guests, but then the restaurant should be closed in December or they should not accept any reservations. a happy to treat the guests so.
With a group of 4 people we were the only guests in the entire large restaurant and the waiter gave us the impression that it would have preferred that the restaurant would have remained completely empty. the food was very good and the service competent and correct, but we felt so little welcome as guests that we would like to let the evening sound at another place, although we would like to stay in the impressive burg.
The surroundings of the burg I like good, so far recognizable in the dark. the environment in restaurant graf gerhard looks a bit old baked, but not unpleasant. the selection of food became clear and to my surprise narrower than the menu on the web page. I took the menu suggestion, 4 courses, variant fish. the foods were excellent, also visual. the carpaccio did not come with pfifferlingen (feed card web page,) but with green salat therefore. the service was very friendly and professional, even by mowing the credit card reader not to get out of the rest. all combined a very pleasant dinner.
The young lady who served us was friendly, but unfortunately not helpful and helpless. it was also left alone by the experienced service performance. a menu that differs from the menu was added, but not rebuilt from the kitchen, on the side the opening of a wine bottle cost about 10 minutes and some of the sweat (unbroken cork included), on my guide was probably spoiled/for but also desalinated as answering to our complaining readings the kitchen for its thanks. when we went after the payment, the service was no longer detectable and we went without divorce, but also not back.
The menu for the silvester menu was very promising, but only the tomato saffron bouillabaisse was really good. at the other courses it was on the perfect preparation: the tranches from thunfish in sushi quality to the lobster cocktail were unfortunately not pink inside, but gray-stained. the stretch also well cooked and solid. 119 €/person was not worth the menu! pity!
