Aztlan Foods - Waterbury

A word, delicious. I ordered number 2; chicken. Basically run a burrito with a cheese filled poblano pepper through the center. Go early or phone in your order as soon as they open. Proteins go fast and for good reason.

I'll send someone and everyone to see Fred at Aztlan Foods forever. The food is good from this world! You're the standard I hold every Mexican restaurant. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

It was amazing for a quick lunch break. If you try the Burrito are ready to have both hands free because you need them! Calling a generous portion would be an understatement. People were friendly and make yourself welcome and comfortable.

OMG. The food is like a fiesta in the mouth... If you're a fan of authentic Mexican burritos, you have to try out their food. It's dying! The Burritos are huge... They will not starve after, but will be more than satisfied! Make the trip happen...

I just had my first burrito from Aztlan today. Unfortunately they are only open during lunch hour, and I don't work in Waterbury, so I've never been able to give them a try. However, the COVID-19 situation let me work from home this week. I knew I wanted to try them, so I had looked them up on the web earlier in the week, in anticipation... Well, yesterday it snowed, so I stayed in for lunch. But today, sunny weather had me venture out. But first, a phone call to be sure they were open. My first call went to voice mail, and I was so disappointed. I was determined to get my burrito, so I gave it a few minutes and called them again. Hooray! I got through and ordered. I was not disappointed. I had the simple fajita burrito and it was excellent. Large enough for two people to share, but I ate the whole thing! Unfortunately, they're only open for lunch time on week days, so it will be tough for me to try a different burrito. I think I'm gonna have a sick day from work in a couple weeks.
