Caribbean Kitchen - Waterbury

Decided to give this place a try today. I have certainly been missing out!! We ordered oxtail, pepper steak, and chicken along with rice, mac and cheese, and veggies. Everything was absolutely amazing! The flavor is addicting and probably the best food I've had in a while.

I always get the Alfredo pasta and a side order of oxtails. I mix them together and when I tell you it fire, it’s FIREEEEE!

I was hesitant to come here due to some of the reviews but I am glad that I did. Been here about 5-6 times and I've enjoyed this place every time. Getting them on the phone could be a bit weird at times as I was hung up on one time before and one of the ladies in the front could be a bit rude. But other than that, pretty good jerk chicken and rice n peas!

Very clean and enjoyable. First time there as well as trying something new. The curry goat was great and a surprise in flavor. Vegetables that came with it were just right and a perfect complement to the overall dish. Can't wait until I can go back to try another dish. Sincerely David E.Rhodes

Please work on your rice. It should not be mushy. The curry need some more curry paste or powder, seasoning and spice. It's ok to add spice to your food.
