Mikey's Jamaican - Waterbury

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. This was one of the best meals I've had since the pandemic started. The menu had great options to choose from.

If you happen to be visiting someone at St Mary's hospital, don't settle for the typical chain restaurants. Head over to East Main, located across from the TJ Maxx plaza. Mickey's, situated in a pseudo-hood area, offers a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The menu boasts a variety of Jamaican favorites, and they even have their own branded soursop (guanabana) juice available in containers.

The soup, made with tender oxtail, was exceptional. My husband absolutely loved his jerk chicken. We usually go to restaurants in Hartford, but decided to drive from Bristol this time and were pleasantly surprised - this place really gave them a run for their money.

Good food respectful staff for a Jamaican restaurant! The person that share food should move faster especially around lunch special time but other than that no complains

If you visit someone at St Mary's Hospital, don't give it to all chain restaurants. On the other hand this TJ Maxx plaza is East Main. Mickey's is there in a pseudo-hood, but the place is beautiful and clean inside and the selection of Jamaican favorites are all there. And they have containers of their own brand Soursop (guanabana) juice!
