Spirit Cafe - Waterbury

Been going here for months, absolutely amazing coffee and food! ? the atmosphere is so comfortable as well.

The food is Great. Different varieties cooked to perfection. Have to mention the staff!! Everyone of the ladies the cook from Detroit are Phenomenal,! True Class!!!

I work nearby and I’m not sure why it took me so long to check this place out. First off, their coffee/lattes are fantastic, some of, if not the best I’ve had in the city. They have many flavors and their specialty lattes are all very good. The food is also fantastic. Fresh and reasonably priced. I’m not sure if they bake their bread in house but it’s very soft and delicious, it tastes freshly baked. I haven’t had any of their bakery items yet but I imagine they’re also great. I highly recommend this place for coffee/breakfast. It’s roomy with enough seats to relax and get some work done if you need a place to sit too. The staff is very friendly as well. A nice little downtown gem.

I wrestled a bit with what to do here. I had a horrible, skunked nitro cold brew at Spirit Cafe in Waterbury. It was 1/2 foam and just shouldn't have been served. When I told them, they didn't care. The staff was super indifferent and seemed unhelpful. Maybe a bad morning.I had an espresso there and it was a good roaster (Downeast) and made properly.
