La Mexicana - Waterford Township

Okay so I definitely gave this restaurant a five-star rating. You would for sure drive past this place and think it's just a party store or something. The reality of this is a very small restaurant/grocery store with 100% authentic Mexican cuisine. You're not going to get red carpet service but what you will get is real food and spectacular food. I 100% think that if you drive by this place you would think it is nothing more than a small store. Anybody long story short you should definitely go in there. Sit down and get some food or order. A carryout great place Will be back

I have this place tied for my best taco spot. The restuarant area was bigger than I expected and and there was a good amount of seating. I ordered a smorgasbord of taco, on corn tortillas and every one was good. My favorite was the Flank Steak, but that chorizo gave it a good run. My daughter ordered 2 carna asada tacos on flour tortillas and she said it was the best taco she ever had. They do have a meat counter and sell the Chorizo and Al Pastor and the market has some of my favorite Mexican candies.

Honestly, awesome food all around. I love the super burrito from there. It's an old building but don't let it deter you!

I placed my order in advance, and everything was prepared correctly. I had the pastor and asada tacos, and they were very good! While they may not be the absolute best I've had, they were definitely worth the price. Overall, I would definitely return and recommend this place!

Food is excellent... fast fast service. I really got to know all the people who work there they're very nice to me me being an outsider American I laugh and have fun with them every time I go in
