The Old Penny - Waterford

That was a good place to eat! My aunt told me about her fish rog! It was so good! Your cheese sticks are so delicious!!! The chicken pliers were very delicious and perfectly cooked! My children ate everything! The food was hot and fresh! The employees were amazing that they told us we were coming back for their wings on Monday! I am happy to know about this place! Great friendly people inside and just try to have a good time!

Always good food, fair prices, good service, beautiful view of the lake. Contains fresh tea for a non-alcoholic drink. Good beer selection. You have cauliflower crust pizza!

Lindsay, the bartender, provided exceptional service to our group of 11. She managed everything quickly and efficiently, keeping our spirits high while juggling bar tasks and taking our orders accurately. The food was delicious, and Lindsay was incredibly kind and friendly throughout our visit.

The food was incredible, and the bar had a lovely ambiance. We discovered the restaurant while exploring the city. I can't wait to go back!

So the Penny Bar is a awesome little corner bar and a good place to stop at when you pull off Wind Lake. We stopped in on a Friday Night and ordered the Fish Fry. Unfortunately they had technical difficulties and it took about an hour to get our food....the wait was quickly forgotten once we received our food. The fish fry was awesome for a bar and we left 100% full. . The only odd sight was from the elderly couple that used their smart phones timer to document their own wait time....Not sure if that means its habitually slow to get food out or that's just what elderly people do with their phones now adays!!
