It was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Food was delicious and very good prices!

True 80s style riverside fish place. Best food I've eaten in a while. Fries were even on point. The fish was to die for, the sides freshly made, the baked beans had bacon in every bite, the potato salad amazing. Prices are spectacular. I now stop there at least once a week. Highly recommend it! If you want some fish, fries and hushpuppies with a true river side fish place feel, its there. Brought back memories of childhood with my Grandpa when we went river fishing.

Food was great and the server was very attentive. It's a cash only establishment so keep that in mind before goin. It also gets VERY busy, and it's a small restaurant, so be patient and be kind and you'll have a delicious meal.

Friday night during Lent we were looking for a fish fry like we often go to back home. Came here on the basis of other reviews. When we arrived it really looked like a pretty nothing place amid old buildings awaiting demolition and the inside kind of fit with the outside and we wondered if we 'd made a mistake ...but it was packed with apparent locals/regulars. The waitress was nice/funny and the food was exactly what we had in mind (and good examples thereof) with a few unfamiliar local touches and seldom encountered items*. Very good overall. Luckily we had arrived early as a long waiting line started to develop about 5:30 after we had already been served. Would eat here again. *e.g. pea salad, fried clam strips
