Gallagher's In Waterloo

We had a party of six, and unfortunately, four of us found the food to be quite disappointing. One person tried the sea bass, which was overcooked and tasted spoiled. The steaks were also thin and unremarkable, and the sauces were lacking.

We loved the grilled wings. They were advertised as garlic Parmesan. They had what I would sort of call an Alfredo sauce on them. They seemed to have been smoked and then grilled. They were very very good and we would go back for more of them. The other entrees being delivered to other tables looked fantastic. The fried chicken we got was good but not outstanding. The breast we were served as rather dark on the outside so that was a bit of a bummer. The meat was not dried out like chicken jerky but I think other dishes would have been better. Will be go back? I would say if we are in the area yes. We would not drive the hour to go there specifically though.

We had a great time and our food was fantastic. We all had hamburgers and we all agreed it was definitely worth the drive from Belleville. Can’t wait to go back.

I miss the old Gallaghers and its menu. Our service was outstanding. Garren was both professional and attentive. You truly did a fantastic job!

All you can eat fried chicken with great sides on Sunday. Delicious and reasonable.
