Hwy 63 Diner - Waterloo

I drove to the coast and had an excellent experience at this restaurant! Defiant really stood out and exceeded the usual diner fare; every dish was simply delicious, and I savored every bite! I even managed to save room for dessert, which was fantastic! I highly recommend giving this diner a try! If you're a seafood lover, don't miss the Jumbo Shrimp!

Loves the family salad and the wheat rolls. Homemade salad dressings are tops. I had everything on the menu. Baked fish in vine sauce is a favorite. One side of the sweet potato caserole or corn caserole is tops. Large ribs, fried chicken and prime rib are all great. Try a pizza. Also good. Home cooking best. Clean and friendly place.

The food passed the Allan Alexander approval test and the service was great. The homemade salad dressings won't disappoint you on a great salad to boot.

What a perfect place to eat and enjoy good conversations with staff and all the regulars. And when we got sat down, I noticed all the old lady's that were there, and rite then I knew we were in the right place!!!

Amazing staff and service. we had a large group of 60 and the food came fast and was great. thank you for making a hard day a little more relaxed
