Perkins Bakery - Waterloo

The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and welcoming—all at affordable prices. It was my first visit, and the shrimp and grottos were a standout! They quickly became my favorite.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant and would give it four stars. However, the initial service was a bit lacking; the woman taking our orders seemed unorganized and a little confused, possibly because she was nearing the end of her shift. On the bright side, the food was fantastic, and the second waiter was exceptional. I highly recommend trying their "Magnificent 7" dish—I absolutely loved it! Additionally, they offer free cake on Mondays, which is absolutely delicious.

The food was quickly brought out, the table was clean, the waiter was very friendly and upset and had a lot of energy. Basically, he seemed to be here. He even said she would get her coffee for free. My salad was a decent size, looked great and also tasted good. He brought us PLENTY from Ranch, which is a plus and the apps are also good! Overall a great experience

It's been a while since I visited Perkins, and I'm thrilled with all the improvements! The waitstaff is absolutely fantastic! I want to give a big shoutout to my waiter, Will. He was not only funny but also had a charming personality. My sister and I had a great time enjoying the atmosphere while waiting for our food, thanks to Will's sweet and delightful service. We will definitely be back for another sister date, just to see Will again! Thanks for the awesome experience, Will!

I haven't been to Perkins but 2 or 3 times ever, but the service I received from Spencer and Rachel was some of the best service I have ever had in my life. They were warm, exciting and just plain fun to be around! They were quick to respond to our requests and delivered our orders with grace, eloquence and speed. I had tears rolling down my face from laughing so hard at the fun Spencer had with us. He is amazing at his job, as is the entire staff. The food was excellently prepared and went down with ease. I will be sure to return to Perkins soon and excited for a good time!
