I stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a nearby place to eat near my airport hotel. They offer takeout options. I tried the green vegetables with garlic oyster sauce and the oven-baked chicken with Sichuan Spicy Pepper. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. This restaurant offers a unique twist on traditional Chinese cuisine. I will definitely be returning.
My sister and I went to dinner and found this restaurant close to our accommodation. I brought a bottle of wine with me and was informed that there was a corkage fee of $12-15. I decided to take my wine back home and instead drank their refreshing and delicious lemon water. We ordered from their extensive menu - my sister got the Sweet and Sour Pork ribs with vegetables, which looked appealing on the menu but arrived in a dark sauce (closer in color to Hoisin sauce) with what seemed to be frozen peas and carrots. My sister, albeit hungry, did not enjoy it very much. I ordered the stir-fried lamb with vegetables which was okay, but the only vegetables present were shallots and onions. The meat was somewhat unevenly cut, with some pieces being tough and chewy. I left about a third of my meal uneaten. The waiting staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. When my sister paid for the meal, we were not asked about our dining experience - no smile, no acknowledgement.
The food at this restaurant is incredibly tasty! The quality is top-notch. I tried the dumplings and they were amazing. I also sampled some other dishes and they were equally delicious. It's worth noting that this restaurant specializes in dishes from northeastern China. If you're accustomed to typical Chinese dishes like fried rice or sweet and sour chicken, this may not be the place for you as the flavors are unique and may require a more refined palate to fully appreciate.
I ordered vegetarian spring rollsfrom the Wentworth Point restaurant. On their menu it states that you receive 5 pieces. It wasn’t until I got home that I realised that they only gave me 4. Also, staff not very friendly but this could be a language...issue as their English seems to be very limited.
