Take Sushi - Waterloo

Take has a train with a decent selection of high-quality fish. The extras we got like karaage were pretty forgettable though. The staff pay no attention to you and you have to go to the front desk to get anything. They have bottled beer. Prices...are ok.

I ordered food for a board meeting through Deliveroo. The feedback from board members was amazing and they delivered on time. The Waygu seared beef signature roll was delicious. I also ordered salmon and avo rolls, crumbled prawn, teriyaki chicken and Katsu chicken. I also...ordered a seared salmon crunch salad which looked amazing!

If you want the best Miso soup and amazing rainbow rolls and the most succulent Katsu chicken and the best garlic wagyu steak...at super cheap prices, this is your restaurant. I was a big fan of the super cheap Sushi Suma on Cleveland street, but...this has a similar price tag with a quality that is far superior. The other fabulous thing about Take Sushi is that it's BYO. I have visited this place times in the last weeks. Do yourself a favour and book yourself in. You wont be disappointed

I usually met up with friends for Japanese once a month at a spot in Surry Hills. Its been a tradition for years...so when they suggested another venue, i was somewhat surprised and felt like i was being unfaithful to our regular haunt. But with...some bottles of wine always highly rate a restaurant thats byo) we made the trek to Waterloo. Well, from the first sip of Miso soup, it was clear why they raved about thus little venue. The soup was generous in portion, but the flavour was hands down THE BEST MISO ive ever tried. Im not a big fan of too much seaweed taste or floating bits. This had neither and was so flavoursome and rich. Wow...great start. My son ordered the staple gyoza and was very happy. The crab croquettes were creamy and large, but lacked seasoning. The mixed rainbow sushi with chilli mayo was so good, we ordered another. The wagyu sushi was different but very very good. One of the higgliggt dishes was the wagyu steak...wow wow wow...so so tender and beautifully cooked. I cant stop thinking of this place and cant wait to return. Ive already been telling people to try it. I have been converted

The sushi was fresh, tasty, looked incredible. The place itself is small but cosy and the staff always there when needed. The only surprise was when I came to pay. I was expecting to pay but it was only and I had...a coke!! It's so cheap for such amazing food!
