Itamae Sushi AYCE - Waterloo

Had heard this was an amazing place to have sushi. Ordered take out and was very disappointed. It is ordinary. Nothing amazing. We had ordered salmon hand rolls. The handrails weren't even filled. Won't go back. Still looking for good sushi in me area. Never realized before that we had been spoilt by a small unknown restaurant ...

Everything is good. Very convenient location for University folks. Very good value for money for AYCE. Have been many times, never had a bad experience food-wise.

Went with some coworkers for lunch and had a great experience. Food came our quickly and made to order. We were able to share the AYCE and try a bit of everything. Will definitely be back!

Went to this restaurant as our intended restaurant was not open for the day.Service was prompt and the decor was good.However, the standard of food was really not on par with even an average sushi restaurant. The side bar was a saving grace, but the chefs need to hone their skills at sushi making. Or just maybe, the main chef was off on the day of my visit. This is a sushi restaurant after all. I'll leave it at that.

I have been here about five times with sushi expert friends. As a new comer to the amazing sushi life, I thought this place was great. Sometimes a little slow. For ordering you get touse am iPad which is great, provides less language barrier problems! Great prices! Shirley temples are tasty and only 2$ :) not a good place if you don't know what sushi is.
