Kam Yin Restaurant - Waterloo

We have been a credit on a good app so we decided to use it by trying this place. we ordered the dinner for 3a that should include: 1) sweet and sour fried wonton: while they can have fried wonton packaging, they could. also call these teller chips there is no canton filling at all. note that the sauce is served on the side 2) lemon chicken: some pieces were baked (to chew to be edible); some pieces were up to 50% dough/meat. Note that sauce was served on the side. 3) bark meat chop suey: this dish contained cut bark meat, bean sprouts and water chestnut (I believe) quite bland the predominant taste was bon sprout. 4) sweet fried rice: this dish contained some more strokes of bohnensprossen (which formed the sweet part.) otherwise this was probably the best tasting part of the meal. I expected Chinese Canadian style/level food (instead of legit Chinese tariff) even then this fell slightly below expectations. to be honest, the dishes could have used more quantity and variety of vegetables (many places are welcome in the rule carrot, celery, mushroom plus, more taste would have been welcome in all dressed.

30 yr customer ordered on website first time said 45 mins 1.25 later called oh not now what to do with their order said oh we discounted them never happened tragic new owners not respect 2.hr 20 min later fell to my door...never again order from wok waggon yummy

The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and excellent service. The prices are reasonable. We particularly enjoy their dinners, which we always order by number. They serve some of the best meals in Waterloo. Another bonus is that their meals are MSG-free.

Kim Yin is definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants we have ever tried. Their Noodle Malayan and jumbo shrimp in lobster sauce were absolutely delicious and freshly made. The service was outstanding, and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes. We will definitely be ordering from Kim Yin again. Thank you for a great dining experience!
