Thirsty's Bar & Grill - Waterloo

This place used to be amazing! Since the owner has changed the past few years has been down hill for this little place. Way to many unsavory customer's/drunks inside and out front. The main staff member is always outside smoking. The prices are to high for all deep fried foods. The hours are ridiculous, you never know when it's open or closed. Too bad, it's been there for a long time.

Great food. Great prices. Very nice owner. Pleasant staff. Wish I could go more often. Hours of operation reduced during the peak of Covid but the service and quality didn't. Can't wait to get back more often.

I used to frequent Thirsty's often for the best chicken wings in town. We decided to pop in for a quick bite the other night just to learn that they have gone to the worst wings in town! What happened? I've had better leftover chicken wings. Won't be back.

I was in town for business and decided to have lunch at this restaurant since it was close to my workplace. However, I should have reconsidered when I saw a group of what appeared to be homeless people outside. The burger I ordered tasted like it had been frozen, and the service was extremely slow - possibly the worst I have ever experienced. The waitstaff took so long to even acknowledge my presence that I could have cooked the meat myself and washed my dishes before they came to take my order. I did not have any drinks so I cannot comment on that. The other customers seemed unkempt, unemployed, and there appeared to be a drug deal happening while I was there. I regret not leaving when I had the chance and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The restaurant offers delicious food, excellent customer service, and affordable prices. It is considered the best small bar in town and comes highly recommended for its fast service.
