Contribuisci feedbackI also tried the fried oyster mushrooms and beet salad, but both dishes were lacking in portion size and felt like something I could have easily made at home. We ordered the fish of the day and the pork belly, and while they were tasty, the portions were so small that I could have finished them in one bite. Overall, I’ve had better meals with more generous servings for less money.
This new restaurant location has a lot of potential to become a local favorite. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, making it a great spot to relax. It’s clear that the management has taken feedback to heart, addressing issues from previous reviews such as the volume of the music. The small plates (not your typical tapas-sized) are perfect for sharing and offer a diverse selection of local dishes, all rich in delightful aromas and flavor. The chef is experienced and clearly passionate about their craft. While the cocktails are on the pricier side, they are made with high-quality ingredients sourced from local producers. The beer selection is impressive as well. I loved the unique glassware, which adds a beautiful rustic touch to the experience. The staff was attentive and efficient throughout my visit. Overall, I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this place.
Cozy little spot filled with charm. The menu changes regularly, showcasing fresh, local, and sustainable ingredients. Their wine and beer selection is impressive, featuring unique and interesting options. The staff is incredibly accommodating, making the most of the space they have! It's well-known that you should expect a wait from Thursday to Saturday nights, and it’s definitely not the place for a quiet romantic dinner. However, the cocktails are more than worth the wait, and this place has been praised by many notable figures! Check out their Instagram for some great veggie inspiration.
Delicious food; great cocktails; friendly atmosphere; bad acoustics and music choice makes it noisier as it should be for fine food. You can find more reviews about music selection here. Both problems easily solved by some large sound insulation boards from the ceiling so high that no one would notice, and aim for lighter music choices, at least during peak times. As a Brooklyn native, I love the Ohm speakers, but they are far too large visual and acoustic for the room. Hope CM is a permanent watertown device. Advice: Choose a vibe and make it thoroughly.
I watched this place being built, so I was pretty excited to check it out. They specialize in locally sourced food, and the menu selection was mostly vegetarian. I actually preferred the vegetarian dishes. The drinks were also very good. Overall, a bit pricey, but as long as I'm not eating there every day, I think it's a great treat. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, as were the staff.
