Contribuisci feedbackThe last few times I called to place an order, I was immediately asked to hold. Then, I was forgotten. I called back and asked to hold again. After holding for 7 minutes, I hung up. A few days ago, this happened again. After three rounds of holding and being forgotten, I went there to order. When I arrived at 4pm, there was only a small family inside eating, nobody at the counter waiting to order. I witnessed one lady answer the phone and ask if they could hold; they were not busy; nobody was at the counter to order, and two girls were behind the counter doing absolutely nothing. After 5 minutes, while I was waiting for the kitchen to make my food, she finally handed the phone to another lady and said there was a call. She held the phone for another minute before answering and apologizing for the hold. I timed all of this.Is taking orders over the phone too difficult for these girls now? Are these disgruntled employees? After witnessing this firsthand, I cannot understand why this is happening. This is not good for business, and I am finished doing business with a company that no longer cares about the customers and, apparently, my business or money.
I've been here a few times, and every time, the experience was wonderful.
This is a true hidden gem and treasure in maine...the food is amazing...fresh bread ginormous portions..freshness. we always get sandwiches to go but their breakfast is nothing short of extraordinary...just go already you won't regret it.
Fried haddock was wet/watery inside, fries not crispy, sent back still new fries weren’t crispy, coleslaw no taste no dressing whatsoever! Have always been happy but it has changed
I highly recommend Big G's if you are ever in Waterville, ME! The food is AMAZING! The staff was polite, and patient!! Good place all around
