O'brien's Irish Pub - Waterville

I was 7 days in the best western in waterville and ate here three times and every time I had a great meal and a wonderful service. the inner of this place is really neat if they like old wood. the largest part of the wood was recovered from the old sailboat that they could see through the mortise and the Tenon connections that were visible throughout the restaurant. the pub/bar area is rich dark wood and is not so illuminated, but this is good with me. no bad beer selection and they had an ipa that was not bad. that was great. I had her philly flatbed, that was really delicious one night, then I tried her bark and guinness, which was rich and tasteful. in the last night I was there her wing night and they make some great wings. the wing night in Thursday and it was a bit crowded in the night, but the rest of the nights in which it had people, but not as packed as it is on the wing night. they also gave the breakfast in the morning, where they can choose from a few options (like coffee and juice together with two eggs, selection of meat and toast), but if they don't like they order the complete breakfast menu and use their voucher for $7 from the cost of the breakfast. I would recommend o’brien if they ever travel through central maine.

This place was a pleasant surprise. I didn't think a hotel would have eaten so high quality. the waitress was wonderful. they looked after the needs and never left our drinks empty. that was great. actually they eat a lot in waterville and have to say that I will not go back to gouverneur after I found this place today. last time I went to gouverneurs my salat was brown and they brought me out again and it was just as bad. so, gouverneur has lost my business and I will go from now on to o’brien’s. the room is also wonderfully decorated. they have on bare wood and look so rustic and charming.

We often come to breakfast, eat is great and the staff is super friendly

My wife and I were in the best western. it was late, so we decided to eat in hotel restaurant with low expectations. the food was good. we have burgers that were perfectly cooked. the pommes were fantastic. the bartender was friendly and attentive. a very pleasant surprise!

Best wings in the area. Hot and crunchy! Washed down with cold beer on tap! Wait staff is friendly too
