The Local Flavor Cafe - Watervliet

Love, love, love this place!!! I've been there three times in the last two months. Although I have been tried by other menu items, I have always received the queue. The options include feta, tomatoes and spinach or brocolli and cheddar. They give you a generous $5.95 disc. You can get the special that contains a salad for $7.95. The salad is huge and packed with many fresh vegetables and fresh mixed greens.

A nice cozy place with healthy option. It's on the street so parking is generally available but not guaranteed.

A wonderful little café on the 8th Ave., 19th Corner street in Watervliet. They started as bakery about 6 months ago, so, being gluten-free, I did not visit again. But after I left my car in Whalen's car repair in Watervliet, John Whalen assured me that they served breakfast, so I left. I was greeted by one of the owners who was very pleasant and accredited and assured me that they had gluten-free bread, so I ordered breakfast. the café was very clean, welcoming and comfortable with reading material. It is a place where you just sit, eat, relax and possibly want to have a conversation with other diners. My breakfast was wonderful... fluffy scrambled eggs, sausages made on site, and two slices gluten-free toast. You also have some gluten-free desserts. I sat for about an hour or more, talk casually with other diners and relax over my coffee while waiting for my car to be repaired in Whalens. Local Flavor has now made lunch and house soups and more offers. I look forward to my next trip there to see what the offers of the day are and hopefully they see grow as a business.

Great breakfast sandwiches! Very good lunch, fresh local ingredients. I have food, breakfast and sometimes dinner here regularly, food is always good, staff is very nice, its quiet comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal or take out.

We LOVE Local Flavor in our office. They always come to large orders and the quality of food is amazing. I still have to try everything that is no higher than my expectations. Commercial investigations LOVES Local Flavor Cafe!
