Ebb Tide - Watford

I have been getting fish and chips with garden peas from Ebb Tide for a number of years ... food is excellent ... freshly cooked ... served with courtesy and a smile ... the staff are always pleasant and kind to me whatever way I get my food .. I was trying to fill my car with petrol in a local petrol station on one occasion and struggling with my petrol cap ... the Ebb Tide Owner was also there and realised I was having difficulty and came to my aid I can't speak highly enough of the family and staff and not least the food ... I have recommended them to several people all of whom have become loyal and regular customers too

We have been getting home deliveries from Ebb Tide for years, always good, but just had our first Kebab delivery since lockdown. We had doner kebab and chicken kebab, both really good, salad very fresh and meat cooked perfectly. Delivered within 30 mins of ordering. Quite expensive but tonight’s meal was totally worth it. Yum!

Firstly the staff are always very friendly and helpful. We always get our order delivered hot and freshly cooked. The shish kebabs are lovely. The marinade is perfect and compliments the meat. If we order cod it is always larger than expected. Also the portions of chips are very generous. They are never greasy but hot and fresh. The delivery is always good service too. Definitely our favourite place for a tasty meal. Well done to staff at Ebb Tide!!!!

I used to stop by this restaurant on my way to games and I really miss it. It was always bustling with customers, which speaks volumes despite the negative reviews from a few entitled individuals. I hope the people running it continue to do well. Thank you for all the delicious chicken breast and chips I enjoyed over the years.

This was the top fish and chip shop in Watford! The prices were fair and the food was fantastic! Unfortunately, they had to shut down because of a rise in rent.
