Sushi Garden - Watsonville

I am a big sushi enthusiast and I visit Sushi Garden every now and then as it is likely the top spot in Watsonville. It can get a little noisy sometimes, but the staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the food is consistently good, I would rate it a 7 out of 10. My favorite roll to order is the Zen Fusion - it is absolutely delicious!

We were starving and looking for a place to eat that was open late when we found Sushi Garden. As soon as we walked in we were assaulted with the strong smell of a cleaning agent. We had to move tables to get away from the smell but couldn't quite escape it. The service was attentive and we were able to order right away. We were also greeted with complementary edamame a nice touch. The food was disappointing. I ordered ramen, which I needed to send back because they had added a spicy chili sauce that just didn't taste good. We ordered udon and teriyaki chicken both very underwhelming. We had two rolls, which were fine. Overall, I don't think we'll be back, even if we're starving.

We come here often and is always consistent in flavor and service. I am glad we can sit at the counters now, gives more room at the tables for larger families to enjoy a great local establishment.
