Taqueria Toluca - Waukegan

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is fantastic, featuring some unique twists on traditional Mexican dishes (including Guilotas!). The coffee was perfectly balanced, with just the right hint of cinnamon. I highly recommend trying the consomé de camarón; it was incredible! The portion sizes are generous, and the service was excellent. The seating area may be a bit old-fashioned, but I believe that adds to the charm of the place. It's definitely a hidden gem!

This place is a jewel! The quality of the service of Vic and his staff is amazing. Hands down the best tacos in Lake County, IL! I recommend the pastor Tacos with Piña and a Topo Chico, you will not be disappointed!

Only consistently good. Very large portions and everything is very seasoned. This is one of my goals for comfort food in the area and I was never disappointed. As you can see from my pictures, I won't eat tonight. Thanks again and the good work I will see soon.

Had the California Burrito. It was good. I brought a little class to eat here. The food was great and well appreciated.

Fast service and amazing authentic food. I took it all the way back to Kenosha and it was still hot and delicious.
