Average ?breakfest menu?. Yes, we went for breakfest. I found the food to be lackluster with such odd combinations. Omelet with Spinach, Chicken and Cheese? It wasn?t very good. They also charge for coffee at $2.95 a cup? Tasted exactly like the Folger?sColombian Blend crystals we have at work at a senior facility. Also, not religious in the slightest, so the overly abundantBible/God quotes on the menu and at the register counter were kind of off-putting. I won?t be back, not because of thereligious-slanted vibes, but the food was blah. If you want better breakfest at affordable prices, go to Pegasus in West Allis, off of Greenfield and ~78th St.
Got the two eggs over medium with a side of bacon rye toast and American fried potatoes a tall oj and a short tomato juice I ate every last bite they have some of the best breakfast around in my opinion. My mom got the French toast and a Apple juice you get5 or 6 slices and syrup with butter she ate all her food. My boyfriend got the Omelet breakfast with wheat toast and hash brownsand a sprite he also ate all his breakfast. The owners are super nice I have been going here since I was 4 when ourGrandma&Grandpa use to bring us. As always fantastic
It's been some years since we've been at this location. I happened upon it while looking for alternatives to our usual breakfast places. We are VERY pleased with rediscovering it. First, parking can be a problem but usually there is space in a nearby publicparking lot which isn't any further than the back lots of most busy restaurants. So, I rank that a next to no issue. Theentrance to it is a small-town mall type and is the first entrance. The atmosphere reminds me of the many small-town diners thatI have visited in the course of traveling the state for my job. Of special note are the posting of Biblical Verses. I like that. Not overdone but makes they very welcoming. there is a mix of tables, wooden booths and a good old fashioned counter if you likethem. As is becoming more popular these days, they are a breakfast and lunch diner, closing at 2pm and 1pm on Sunday. The menuis on both sides of the placemats. I like that. It has all the favorites with enough uniqueness to make it well worth your whileto explore this gem of an establishment. Pat had the potato pancake special with eggs and bacon. The bacon was done perfectly. Ihad the Dady-Oh's omelet which is a fold-over lots of large pieces of ham, vegetables, and Swiss cheese. I chose the fruit andEnglish muffin for sides. We enjoyed it and the coffee enough to plan to return on a more regular basis.
This God forward friendly place has a nice atmosphere. The kitchen look large and very clean. The coffee is good and the cheese is addicting! Wish the bacon was cut smaller, but that?s just my preference. Great prices.
