A very helpful waiter informed us that we could bring our dog inside, but since he was nervous around other dogs, we chose to sit outside. The waiter quickly took our drinks order and brought out menus. When he came outside, he mentioned that there was a table in a quieter area with no other dogs, where we could sit. We only ordered a few snacks as we were eating later, but they were amazing. The sight of other diners' food made us regret not ordering a full dinner. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you!
All round fantastic experience, we take elderly father here for drinks and the occasional meal, my father is made so welcome even though he is not a local. food fantastic Landlord superb and staff fantastic
This is our second visit. Food and service excellent. Only comment and not a bad one… savoury cheesecake was divine but don’t order if like me you want to save room for your main as quite rich. Booked in again for a weeks time. Can’t...understand bad comments on here as staff on both occasions have been very helpful and friendly.
Really lovely setting, relaxed atmosphere, very friendly and helpful team. The venison was cooked to perfection and served with seasonal vegetables and buttery potatoes.....that was so good I had to try the chocolate creme brulle for pudding, not disappointed!! I will definitely be going again...soon
We were turned away with lies saying that they had no empty tables that could accommodate our party of eight. When we walked away we could see into the pub and there was tables available. We could only assume that the reason was that we...were not wearing masks.
