The onion bhajis tasted like they were cooked in old oil and reheated multiple times, the poppadoms were stale, the chicken tikka had no flavor, and the garlic cheese naan was lacking in garlic, cheese, and overall taste. When I called to complain, they offered to send another meal or give me a credit, but I just wanted a refund after being put off by the food I had already eaten. I had to drive the food back to the restaurant to get my refund. Upon arriving, the young lady working at the front was polite and said she would find someone to assist me. However, three men came out from the kitchen (who appeared and smelled like they hadn't showered in weeks) and were not as polite as the young girl. They were rude, argued with me, and tried to intimidate me. Two of them stood around me with their arms crossed, giving me intimidating stares while I explained and showed them how bad the food was. It seemed like they were trying to scare me. I was more scared of eating their food again than of the chefs who had ruined their cultural cuisine. Overall, the worst Indian food I've ever had.
This was our second takeout order from this restaurant, and unfortunately, the food was cold.
My favourite Indian in the Lowestoft area its in Oulton Broad and is very good well presented good tasting food.
Small restaurant but very tasty food and great customer service
Fantastic little place! And it is little, being in, I think, the former ticket office of a railway station! The food, staff, restaurant are all excellent. No complaints whatsoever. The staff do not standstill, they are not only serving customers who have tables booked, but also customers coming in for takeaway or having food delivered. Service is fast, but you don't feel pressured to eat quickly and leave. Would recommend to everyone who likes Indian cuisine.
