Food was excellent. Very fresh, not greasy at all. The toilets for the most part were clean except no toilet seats in either of the gent’s cubicles. If you use sat nav with postcode to find, be careful not to drive past as it will take you 100m past the cafe.
Stopped here for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and the gardens are immaculate. The breakfast was very good with the exception of the bacon which was rock hard and inedible which was a shame. Might just have been a bad bacon day as the rest of the reviews seem ok so give it a try anyway.
We stopped en route from Kent to Bournemouth for a bacon roll and a cuppa. No problem with the food or service but the ladies toilet was the dirtiest one I have ever been in. The bowl of the toilet was absolutely black!!!!!!! Dont think it has ever been cleaned needs more than a bottle of bleach. We stopped here last April and it was exactly the same thought it was just a one off but obviously it is always like this. How the all female staff can use this on a daily basis is beyond me and makes me so Dee what the kitchen area is like behind the scenes.
This cafe is the best in the area. They serve a lovely English breakfast and the place is nice and clean with very quick service. The garden is also well kept and beautiful.
I went to this restaurant for brunch and ordered the meat-free breakfast. It consisted of 2 eggs on toast with a choice of 3 additional items. I chose tomato, black pudding, and mushrooms, all for just over five pounds. It was incredibly good value and delicious. The garden was well-maintained and the staff were lovely. Plus, they are dog-friendly. I will definitely be coming back. My friend had the cheese omelette with beans and also enjoyed it.
