Lemongrass - Waverley

It’s the 5th time we have visited Lemongrass in Cranleigh. The restaurant was busy and Sam was an excellent host . We were celebrating our 4 year anniversary and Sam and his staff wanted to do everything to make our evening special. We enjoyed some Prawn Tempura, with some lovely light batter and a Chicken Satay. Followed by a King Prawn Pad Thai and King Prawns in Oyster sauce with veg. The king prawns were large, sweet and juicy. The banana fritters were light and crisp accompanied with a delicious serving of vanilla ice cream and a large brandy! I couldn’t recommend Lemongrass enough, the atmosphere was lively for a weekday evening. The beers cold and the service was attentive and friendly. Keep up the good work. Cheers

Save yourself the time of reading to the end of this review and just go to Lemongrass...you won't regret it. Although this was my first visit today, I will definitely be back. The food was excellent with a menu of the classics as well as many unique dishes. Presentation was excellent and all the portions were large. Sam and the team were all excellent with their customer service and friendliness and were more than happy to alter the spice levels of a dish that I adore but it normally a little too much for me. Outstanding.

Beautiful food, I had the spicy sizzling steak (can’t spell it! and it was stunning. Superb service by Sam and the boys couldn’t be more helpful or attentive. Highly recommend
