When I entered, the owner was finishing up with a customer at the register and then came over to me. I mentioned that there was someone on the phone who had been waiting for over nine minutes. She raised her voice and said she had been busy. I replied that another waitress could have taken the order, but she informed me that the woman cleaning the table was a customer just helping out so she could sit down. I apologized for not knowing. When I placed my order for two burgers, she became unpleasant and said it would take an hour and a half. I was surprised and said, "Really, an hour and a half for two burgers?" I decided to leave and try somewhere else. If they are that busy, they should consider hiring extra help. I'm glad they didn't get the rail house; they wouldn't be able to keep up.

The food is fantastic, the prices are reasonable, and the ambiance is delightful. However, the wait times are a significant issue for this restaurant. When I called to order a turkey club and fries, I was told to expect a wait of an hour and a half. On several occasions, I arrived after waiting that long only to find that my order hadn't even been started yet. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but their wait times are unusually long. If they have too many orders, they should consider stopping new ones. When ordering takeout, I often get no information about the wait time until I finish my order; more than once, I've been told it would take an hour, prompting me to cancel. Waiting over an hour for takeout is extremely inconvenient. Unfortunately, this has happened every single time we've ordered in the past year, so we've ultimately decided to stop trying. It used to be our favorite spot, but now it doesn’t seem worth the effort to order. I miss the food, but the long wait isn't justifiable.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The kitchen was filthy, and the staff seemed completely indifferent. We waited over an hour for a grilled cheese sandwich and a meatball sub. When I inquired about our order because I needed to get to work, I was told it would be started soon. After leaving a review on Facebook, the owner responded in a rude and unpleasant manner.
