When I was 10 years old, I mowed my grandfather's court every Saturday and when I was done, he would say, "Come on now and get us a Jiffy Burger." I was addicted, then to her burgers and pushed a snapper through hot Texas sun light fire just to have a bite. Quickly forward 20 years later and still has to have it in the city. Outstanding hole-in-the-wall burger joint. Burgers are small, so a double cheeseburger is my go-to order with a bag of chips (no fries here) and a drink. Orders are delivered quickly and I usually sit at the counter and look at all of the Coke bottles from a bygone era.
