The brisket alone was worthy of 4 stars but the other food brought the score downThe ribs were ok, certainly not bad but maybe a little boring.

My wife and I ate in The Vault for the first time tonight. Why on earth have we waited so long??? It was fabulous! We had the windshield breeze and sausage and both were really good. Some of the best BBQ we had. The pages were also very good. Besides good food, the family who owns and runs the restaurant are great. We were immediately greeted by one of the daughters of the owner with a very cheerful smile and welcome. She was super sweet and while we eat, we found how friendly and linguistic she was with other customers who came. It was really nice to eat at a place where people run / really care about the business and are super friendly. The owner came out and greeted people and came to our table and spoke for a minute. Nice and friendly. His wife came out and greeted us. So, the food was great, the owner / family were super....we will definitely be MOST back and will tell everyone we see about The Vault!

I know it's weird, BBQ for a 10. Wedding day to order, but I have to go to The Vault Smokehouse rave. You brought me in a long time. From the food, the service, the staff, everything was fine. I'd do it again.

This place is amazing! It serves the best smoke briquette I tasted in Texas, down hands. Definitely a place to bring the whole family! Family property (the owners are great). Fast and friendly service. Delicious food. It has everything. If you are somewhere near Waxahachie, you should probably stop here. ...not to mention the delicious BANANA PUDDING!
