Andy's Frozen Custard - Waxhaw

My family absolutely loves the Ozark Turtle Sundae at this restaurant. It features vanilla custard ice cream with chocolate, caramel, and plenty of pecans in every bite. It is truly delicious! We have also tried the strawberry chocolate concrete, which is similar to a blizzard but even yummier. The chocolate custard is very rich, so I prefer to get a mix of chocolate and vanilla. The floats, like the root-beer float, have less custard, so keep that in mind. The parking is limited, there is no indoor seating, the lines are usually long and slow-moving, and the bathrooms are not the cleanest.

Ordering sundaes and cones at the drive-thru was very quick.

Great service even when busy. I've enjoyed every item I've tried from their menu.

Visited Andy’s in Charlotte on Monday September 18, 2023, and their custard machine was down; we left disappointed. The business should at least mention on Maps that their custard machine is down so that it doesn’t inconvenience the customers who are traveling some distance to arrive here.

Great service, and I loved the custard! Nice environment for the family. Smalls start at around $5ish dollars, and price goes up with size.
