There was quite a wait by the time we left so arrive early on a Sunday morning. The food is pricier than a diner but it is good. Good place to get breakfast on the main line.
Large portions! Flavorful combinations of ingredients. 5 of us have each eaten someting different, all good. Only the pancakes were rated as underwhelming by the person. Other items were a delicious farmhouse omelette, avocado toast, a bagel with egg/salmon/cream cheese/capers/tomato (delish! , and a waffle. It 's a comfortable place. We also like the self-serve coffee! We will eat here again, no doubt.
Hunting for great food. There is a challenge in Pennsylvania. All roads slept through the backyard of people, endless dead ends and much too many narrow streets. So if you're through all this and more the price is over. So it was today. We compared all available options for breakfast and looked for one that can be overlooked. BINGO! I had the Chesapeake City Omelette and my friend Morning After. Delicious. So much more food to go... The staff was like food in your kitchen at home, comfort and friendly combined. And the food came fast, I was hungry... Thank you. Inside unpretentious and simple. My rule, the easier the inside, the better the food... So definitely over, worth the ride... Definitely use a talking GPS to come here. Do not let the outside of the building slow you down, go out the car and sit down. We have Palm Sunday... good choice, the church goes on and we hit the palms on the table. Thank God.
Cosy diner with a few window seats and satisfying breakfast kitchen. Our server was attentive, patient, fast and made us feel comfortable. My thick French toast slices were huge, tasty and still tasty this night and companion also loved their meal and coffee. The sausages and scrambled eggs were as expected and I enjoyed my citrus herbal tea. I strongly recommend breakfast at Avenue Eatz! Only Downer was a pretty stubborn fly that bothered us all the time, but that was the first time my companion had experienced it there.
Great little place for breakfast or lunch. Very unpretentious and always serves excellent food. I had at least 5 different sandwiches and 1 or 2 salads and everything was excellent. Also large parts. The service is always friendly and the owner is usually there. Recommend You want this place if you want something different from the N. Wayne Ave options.
