Captain Nemo's Sandwiches - Wayne

The previous owners closed this restaurant down last year, but the new owners reopened it just two weeks ago. It was unfortunate to see the place close, but I'm really happy it's back. I visited for the first time today after hearing about the reopening. The sub I had was the best Nemo's sub I've enjoyed since my childhood! It was hearty, packed with meat and toppings, and absolutely delicious.

The food is excellent, but the young man who works as the cashier most days isn't very friendly and hardly engages in conversation.

Absolutely the best subs I've ever had! I currently live in California, and I miss them terribly! My all-time favorite is the hot ham and cheese, while my friends adore the pizza subs. You absolutely have to try these subs! They've been a favorite of mine since childhood, many years ago. Keep up the incredible work!

We stopped in for take away this evening to celebrate a milestone for our daughter. My wife and I split the Traditional. The last four inches of our sub was empty on both sides. Our daughter ordered a steak and cheese. What she received was a ton of bread, onions, lettuce, and the tiniest splash of steak. She was SO disappointed. We felt bad for her because it was the dinner she wanted, and what she received was SUB-par....get it? SUB-par?!? Anyway, our son split the pizza sub with his girlfriend. They both enjoyed it. Not sure of today was just an off day or what. But we were left disappointed.

I've only been to this place once but I can honestly say that is was one of the best subs I've ever had. Great flavors and plenty of options to choose from. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the subs speak for themselves.
