From the moment we entered, Sam made us feel welcome. The Chef De Cuisine Felix cooked each course with impeccable attention to detail and his descriptions of the dishes were captivating as was the brief chat that followed the meal. Felix brought over a fresh shipment of white truffle and allowed us to waft in the aroma and Tommy even gave us a brief tour of their meat aging and salumi operation in the back of house. I had high expectations for this meal but honestly I never expected anything like the experience that we were provided. A perfect evening would not change a moment. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Remember the name Robbie Felice. This place is something special, and so are his other two restaurants. I have a feeling that name is going to be common knowledge among those who appreciate remarkable chefs. This guy is changing the game in northern New Jersey, and I think it’s only a matter of time before he really blows up! Experience his food now before you need to book a trip to Las Vegas to eat it ! Visited Viaggio and really liked it. The food is creative and tasty. The octopus and hanger steak were very good. The polenta and sauce with a little spice go very well with the octopus and the steak was perfectly cooked. The mushroom ravioli was good but a little too sweet for my taste. The space is nice with a little bit of a casual feel. The service was very good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Recommended dishes: Hanger Steak, Charred Octopus
Food was good. Little too crowded for my taste, the portions were tiny. You have to order 2 of each. Then it becomes extremely expensive. We paid over $350 for five people, three of which were children. No alcohol. Extremely expensive for the quantity. Not at all impressed with this restaurant. Ordered Calamari and Octopus to start, shared Carbonara Pasta as a middle course and for the entrees we had the hanger steak and cod. Food overall was really bland (they all lacked salt and flavor), wish there was a salt shaker on the table. My husband ordered his steak Medium which came with two slices of well done steak that were in fact end pieces that belong to a different steak. My Cod was flavorless and dry and the puttanesca was more like a chimichurri puree again no salt no flavor. We really wanted to love this restaurant but our experience was certainly not one we’d like to repeat. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
