The side salad was crispy with tomatoes and purple cabbage. The bread is baked to order when you sit down and absolutely melts in your mouth. For lunch I ordered the eggplant parmesan and it was delicious. It came with Ziti and sauce. My friend ordered the chicken Alfredo with broccoli and she almost licked her plate. The sauce was creamy and they were a lot of it. To dessert we decided to share the cheesecake. We asked for chocolate sauce and our waitress, who was absolutely wonderful, not only shred chocolate upstairs, but also white chocolate. She even split the pane into two plates for us. The cheese cake was silky smooth and decadent. By far the best Italian food I had in time. I highly recommend stopping at lunch or dinner. Lunch for two including dessert was less than $50.
The food at this restaurant is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. The service was excellent and the social distancing and cleanliness measures were impressive. This was my first time dining here and I discovered a hidden gem!
Scotto earns a spot on the list of great Italian eateries. They offer a delicious Big Calzone, decent Pizza, and a variety of Philly style subs. While the atmosphere may not be extravagant, it is clear that the restaurant is a popular choice for lunch but less so for dinner. I visited on a weekend night and it was very crowded, causing some delays in the kitchen. Overall, a good choice for a casual Italian meal.
The staff is friendly, fast and efficient. Food and atmosphere are great. Cheesecake and Tiramisu are fabulous. It is a popular place to visit from me since the move to the area. If you support local restaurants, this is in the Top 5 on my list.
Initially hesitant due to mixed reviews, I decided to take a chance on this restaurant. I am thrilled that I did, as the food was amazing! The bruschetta was comprised of perfectly toasted bread topped with freshly chopped tomatoes, onions, garlic, and basil. The addition of a side of balsamic vinaigrette elevated the dish to another level of deliciousness. Dining solo, I was able to customize my pizza with sausage, garlic, and anchovies. The generous amount of fresh garlic slices added a flavorful kick to the already delicious pizza. I will definitely be returning to this establishment when I am in Waynesboro again. Thank you!
