Fat Buddies Ribs Barbecue - Waynesville

Damn good BBQ! Ribs were incredible. I was truly and pleasantly surprised in this strip Mall restaurant. Don't let the looks deceive you. Great food!

Being from Florida, I expected a different BBQ than I was used to and was not disappointed. The BBQ beans had a smoky flavor as compared to the sweeter Florida flavor and was top-notch. The ribs, brisket, and pulled pork were great, and the service was excellent.

What do you have dinner for gate night. Only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table.. Great servers, Really cool Atmosphere. All the food was really good. I highly recommend definitely will be returning.

We ordered takeout because we had our little fur baby with us! We are vacationing up here for a week! I lived here for a couple of years in the mid 90’s! I love the red based bbq sauce in North Carolina! I’m from South Carolina and we have the yellow sauce, which I don’t care for. I got the pork bbq, slaw, baked beans and my husband got ribs , okra, slaw and French fries! My husband thought they could have given him a few more ribs because our order was over 50.00! But overall, it was very good!

I had the two meat-commo plates. the ribs, brisket kartoffelsalat and veggie medley. for a starter, I had the black aug banged in. the only thing I had eaten was the meat and the cup stew. the service was great. I'll try something else next time.
