Contribuisci feedbackSo disappointed!!! We have ordered food and we received something with no taste, especially pigeon breast was tasteless but the worst part is, that we complained to waitress and he said “I will ask chef if that how should be” but he didn’t come back to us with answer. My husband couldn’t eat that and we expected at least something else or redound because our £18 was waste of money, and when we go to the bar and tell to lady that the food is not good at all, she said “thank you for feedback and I am so sorry” nothing about redound at all. We are working at hospitality and we know how customer service supposed look like, so shame of people who work there that they couldn’t do anything. You can see also my prawns for £21, they were covered with a lot of tempura, I could just eat prawns from inside.
Had to go to see for myself wot a little gem in the woods fantastic setting great function rooms large tables and plenty of room to move beer was cold and good choices we had 6 Sunday roasts mixed meat was fantastic hot and plenty of food never waited 30 mins and was very full all tables booked booked a room for the summer can’t wait for the return manger was called Lee amazing guy
Roast beef we were told was rare. I’ve had rare beef and prefer it that was but this was awful. Two of us had beef and it was inedible, chewy and impossible to even cut, I have never spat food into a napkin in a restaurant. We did mention this and were told “sorry about that. Won’t ever eat there again.
The Sunday roast was excellent, with generous portion sizes. The service was efficient and we didn't have to wait long for our food, even though it was busy during lunchtime.
I recently tried the curried Squirrel croquettes at Jonny’s and they were incredibly tasty. It was nice to see a pub serving up locally sourced game and utilizing meats that are often overlooked but still delicious.
