Lovely rural traditional pub serving proper home cooked food and excellent range of beers.

A late morning pint to reacquaint myself with an unusual and welcoming pub next to the Lavender Line. Well-kept beer (Long Man) and good attentive service. A large car park at the back.

Staff so helpful and welcoming, a proper English pub!

Excellent spot for lunch while visiting the Lavender Line next door. Food was very tasty and staff were lovely. Recommended!

Popped in here for lunch as we where passing we had gammon and chips which was very good large portion well cooked and very nice the puddings where good but very large . Home made bread and butter pudding very nice the staff good and helpful a nice pub with good food, but pub was a bit cold maybe should have lit the fire but we will be back
