Cowboys Ranch Cafe - Weatherford

We experienced a long wait for our meals at Cowboys Ranch Cafe—my husband ordered a hamburger with fries, while I had a BLT with onion rings. Despite it being noon on a Sunday with about six tables occupied, we waited for a full hour for our food. When it finally arrived, I received fries instead of onion rings, which can happen, but then had to wait an extra 15 minutes for the few onion rings they prepared for me to take home. The fries were greasy and limp; they needed to be fried in hotter oil since they had good seasoning, but overall, they were not good. My husband described them as terrible. While we received multiple apologies for the wait and the mix-up with our order, there was still an overall feeling that something was off. A hint that we should have noticed was the low number of cars in the parking lot during lunchtime on a weekend. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our experience there and will not be returning.
