Downtown Cantina - Weatherford

The family made a stop in Weatherford for lunch at the Downtown Cantina and had a great experience. We tried a Dos Rita and some fantastic tacos. The first one was called Pork Peach, featuring pork, crema, peach salsa, and cotija cheese. The second was the M.O.A.T., or "Mother of All Tacos," which consisted of grilled pork, candied bacon, blueberry sauce, blueberry cobbler cheese, and fried onions. If you find yourself in Weatherford, Texas, be sure to visit the Downtown Cantina for some truly delicious tacos!

I adore the bar ambiance and the lovely fireplace in this place. Their taco selection is fantastic, and the specialty margaritas are a must-try! The service was swift and very friendly. I highly recommend dining here!

The food was excellent. It was a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. The pineapple jalapeño margaritas were fantastic, and the queso was delightful. The M.O.A.T. taco was also delicious—you’ll definitely want to order three of them. Overall, it was a great experience.

The drinks were delicious, and the food was quite good as well. The service was excellent. I found that the food tasted even better on my second visit. I ordered the blackened shrimp taco and the shrimp po' boy taco, and I absolutely love putting pickles on my tacos!

We had a lovely family lunch here, and the food was excellent. My youngest particularly enjoyed the churros that came with her kids' meal. The macho nachos were not only massive but also delicious, especially with the brisket topping. They were so generous that my wife and I were able to share them and still had leftovers to take home. As for drinks, I was really impressed with the Sheriff’s Posse and the 1855. My wife also loved the Palo Pinto margarita.
