Two out-of-town diners seeking a locally-owned restaurant experience were delighted with their choice. The cozy, working class ambiance of this authentic Texan restaurant in a small city setting did not disappoint. The delicious homemade food, served by a friendly server, included a meat salad, potatoes, greens, black-eyed peas, and a roll for less than $8.00. Thank you for the wonderful meal and helping us create lasting holiday memories!

And asked for a table. it was said that a stand is finished in a short time. another person went in shortly after me, waiting after 15-20 minutes and watching 7 other people who sit on them. I left.

Great place to eat. very friendly waitress. I have a little chicken fried steak and it had zero crackle in it! it was fantastic!

The breakfast at this restaurant was excellent. The waitress was very attentive, making sure our drinks were always topped up without missing a beat. The atmosphere was relaxed and nostalgic, making for a great dining experience.

It's my first time here. I love chicken fried chicken/steak so I have to try OMG the chicken fried chicken was so very delicious I love the flavor of the crust. with mashed potatoes broccoli rice was different but it was good. we will definitely be back so very filling. thank you Nicole for being amazing waitress. she was very helpful polite and very knowledgeable.
