The frosting itself didn’t taste too rich, and seemed to taste creamier than most frosting I’ve had. The chocolate batter was delicious, tasting fresh. I found that the cupcake was a bit too small as it was delicious, and I was hungry for more! The frosting wasn’t loaded onto the top of the cupcake like it normally is elsewhere, it was just the perfect amount of consistency. I found the cupcake to be a tad expensive however, it says that all of their cupcakes are nut-free, and can be gluten-free therefore, I can appreciate the effort put into making these cupcakes exceptional. The small 'd ' on each of the cupcakes was a nice touch to display the logo of the shop!<br/ <br/ ATMOSPHERE:<br/ The shop is quite small, with only one table that fits about six people near the front, along with decorative boxes and other items related to cupcakes peppered throughout the shop. There is a small display case at the front with the cupcakes displayed, along with a price list on the wall behind the display case. The shop felt like something that can be found in a small village. It was quite picturesque, with many different items to admire.<br/ <br/ SERVICE:<br/ I had to wait in line for about five minutes before it was my turn to reach the counter. There were quite a number of individuals coming to pick-up custom orders which took a bit longer to process. The young woman behind the counter was kind, smiling as I approached, then asking me what I would prefer. I found her service to be exceptional, especially since she was quite busy at the time of my visit.<br/ <br/ COST: Two regular-sized vanilla chocolate cupcakes $6.22 (tax included)
The red velvet cupcake was to die for! The service was really good also the decor and the atmosphere was really cute! It was such a great find
Dolled Up is the best. It is such a treasure to have a nut free cupcake shop in Meadowvale. Such delicious treats... The teeny little snack size and the proper party size... Beautifully customized to suit silly toddlers and posh adults alike. Highly recommend. (Also recommend sparkly icing!
Each cupcake is a piece of art. Though small, it’s packed with unlimited possibilities and various flavors. You can tell the owner has put in heart and perfection into each cupcake. Check out their instagram, lots of options and designs, makes you want to try them all. So far my favorite is s’more.
The cupcakes are great and not overly sweet and are fresh .. Sometimes the cupcakes don’t taste like the flavour but still very flavourful. Great staff too!
