I have learned that I am not fond of hibiscus tea, but I believe that is entirely my distaste for hibiscus all in all, I was very happy with the place. Atmosphere was homey and lovely, staff was friendly and helpful and cheerful, and they have enough sense and experience to know you can't just add sugar to iced tea, but that simple syrup works fine. ?We took our purchases out front to nice tables with some surprisingly uncomfortable chairs, lol... there are better chairs inside. Our table was horribly crooked because one leg had lost a bolt and was not secured to the brace ring, but it seemed the only one in any disrepair. Wife had a parfait that looked awesome (see photos) and said it tasted even better. The flora were beautiful. We went because she saw an ad for a free herb with some purchase from the coffee shop. The garden center is behind the shop, and was well furnished, nicely kept, and again, cheerful, helpful staff. There were several herbs to choose from, in some variety of types several kinds of basil, of Sage, etc. We also bought a thriving pathos $44, but seems very hardy.Go have a coffee and buy a loved one a plant.
Maypop was a LOVELY and charming location. My wife and I pick new coffee places to go every Sunday and this place blew our socks off. The shops location in a repurposed house exudes cozy ambiance. The abundant plants are to die for and the coffee itself? Delicious *chefs kiss*
A sweet and cozy coffee shop! the **** we were recommended was a zimt and it was perfect. the aromen were dead. the uie gooie butter cookie was also perfect. the coffees we had were both delicious from the drip to the mandelmilch carmel latte. the garden area back is a great combination for a coffee shop, great idea.
THE BEST coffee I've had in St Louis. Beautiful views, delightful staff, and the most quaint greenhouse with beautiful plants and flowers right next door. I'm in love. Picture includes DIY terrarium place inside greenhouse. Prices of plants and pots in my opinion were high, but I didn't mind because I was such a fan of them and their small business.
