Webster Groves Garden Cafe

My favorite coffee shop in WG! The atmosphere is unbeatable, and the food and coffee are consistently fantastic.

We went there for the live music on a Friday night and we were pleasantly surprised. There is a stage on the back and plenty of chairs. An excellent band played from seven to nine

Love the chicken salad on a croissant. Very pleasant place to dine. Decor is comfy.

How did I not know about this spot? The Garden Café in Webster Groves hid from me for a long time but I found it. By day, it’s an inviting space perfect for sipping on coffee or a soothing cup of tea while nibbling on yummy treats like tamales, sandwiches, and croissants. The ambiance is just right for hanging out or getting some work done. But the real magic happens when the sun goes down. The café transforms into a music venue, featuring performances that highlight the talents of its owners, Mandy and Gary Schoenberger. Both accomplished musicians, Mandy plays upright bass while Gary is a singer/songwriter Together, they perform with their band, The Perfect Strangers, and their album called Broken released in 2017.

The coffee is delicious, fairly priced. Environment is beautiful, eclectic, and super clean. Seating inside and outside. A fun set of chairs and table for everyone.
