As Friday, the special menu was filled with fish choices. I chose the captain. The shrimp and scallops were beautifully groomed in a garlic butter. The white fish was gently swollen and very beautiful. The woman had the maize beef ruben with seafood bisque. Both were excellent. Service was great and everyone was friendly and helpful. Next time we have to leave room for the stubborn desserts. 6/28/22 Another great place to go. Don't let the parking lot fool you. There were many seats. The food was still great and the service was even better.
We stayed at the restaurant on Sunday, 6/26/22 for breakfast. We had Country Fried Steak (delicious, Pancakes (short stack just the right amount! and a page of Corned Beef Hasch (wonderful . Very few restaurants make hash up from scratch, that is a winner. We want to make a call for our waitress Julie (Julianna F. . She is an excellent addition to the team. Friendly, respectful, attentive and professional.
Very extensive menu and to quote my wonderful wife, Diners are great because everyone gets what they want. I ordered her BLT with Pasta chicken soup and a root beer. The others at my table had a frittata, green beans and an omelet. Great service, hot delicious food, good portions and the bill was very reasonable. Definitely will return!
Food was very good, waitress was very nice. Three of us had breakfast for dinner at 6:00 and Bill was $23 and change. Would have been five stars, except for the ladies' room, where the paper towels flow over the garbage container.
We had steak and eggs this am. It was good. Our server is a favorite of my folks. She remembers all their details including what they normally want. She was really sweet. The steaks were great with a little A1 sauce. That should tell you all you need to know. Eggs toast and home fries were yummy. TYSM!
