Old Erie - Weedsport

Great place for German food. Live about 30 miles away, but visit a few more times a year. I'm sorry it'll be over soon.

Only a very short distance from the Weedsport exit of the Thruway makes this a great option if you want more than fast food. It has a varied menu and good food in a beautiful historical environment. I still have to be disappointed, but I was here at noon and didn't try dinner yet.

Excellent appetizers! Had the Calamari and also sausage plate. Our entire table was also very satisfied with dinner. Great local restaurant with quality service. So happy that this place is down the road from me and can't wait soon.

We don't go very often, but really should. We make it a point to visit when they offer their Oktoberfest menu. The variety is excellent. They have German entrees, deserts, beer and wine. We were a party of four and we were all extremely happy with our meals.
