The Highwood - Weehawken

Overall it was cool they had NYE party favors but I wouldn't order the shrimp pasta again. Pasta with shrimp meal was way too salty. The Autumn drink was very good but took awhile to come after the meal arrived.

Great experience on New Year's Eve dinner with the family. Service was ok. Food was fast very tasty. We'll be back on another day, when it's not such a rush maybe the service will be more attentive. Decedent value for the price of food portions.

Both the location and the ambience are terrific. The drinks were very good. All the food we ordered was very delicious and well prepared and served . The edamame was good. The seafood Cobb salad was excellent and the rigatoni Bolognese was perfect. We loved every bite of all of it highly recommend eating and drinking here.

If I could, I would rate this place a zero. Their menu does not have a single item that’s allergy friendly. As I sit here writing this I’m frustrated because I ordered two items I thought would be allergy friendly. I was told they would be then the waitress tells me they are cooked in gf contain instead oil. What’s the point of having them on the menu only to then not be able to eat them. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

Good spot. Nice eclectic menu for a sports bar. Definitely niche place. If you like sushi or the sports bar standards this place is for you.
