Schlosshotel Weilburg

Rooms have come in the years, running and furniture of 19, but everything was clean and okay. it has something to stay in the old building. The arrival instructions were completely fine. Breakfast staff good and sufficient. in the evening, especially at the bar, not to use (in particular the leader of the group), who was absolutely not born for work (we must not stand in front of the bar, he said.) we just wanted to take a small drink after the Christmas market. 3 services were still there and no one felt in layer 6 drinks. also the efforts of the lady of reception has no success. a shame that the night of sound in such a historic building has found such an end. "It seems you should just stay here and then go again.

Eating Drinks: had booked the musical dinner, it was okay, but the room was retracted sweet and little Christmas, food did not correspond to what on the map, so there were in two of four passages of changes that were not previously made known, there was actually too little operation, so we always ordered 0.5 liter of drinks directly, so that we drink enough and also drinks at night. the main course was somehow warm, the chicken was partly already dry out, at my table neighbor it was not even inside and it was okay, but for a castle hotel I was honestly more expected. also the toilets looked more like a shelter and not like a castle hotel, the mülleimer ran over, it lay dirty paper on the floor. that was a pity, I was looking forward to an elegant evening in an elegant and festive ambience and that was unfortunately not fulfilled

I spent two nights with my team. Among other things, we beat our team there. The service personnel were not so motivated the day. The food was very good for it, here a great praise for the kitchen team. The covered table was with great attention to detail. The rooms were very different, from very large and well furnished until then from hostel style with too small beds. Also the rooms were very dark, overall from the price not so suitable for all rooms. I also advise everyone to check the minibar. When we got the bill for our team after a few days, the costs for the minibar were listed, which was definitely not looted by our colleague. I also find it unprofessional from the management to say that this would be 100% our colleague and management behind the staff. It is a pity that no faith is given to the guest. Annex: The hotel has taken over the costs of the minibar, thank you very much. Stay very nice, but many mängel at the beginning of the 20. December 2022 my wife and I on the occasion of an anniversary wedding day a wavy weekend with half board in the 4 star Schlosshotel Weilburg. the journey through the village of Weilburg and the large hotel parking lot in the Schlosshotelhof were well signposted. the reception staff was consistently friendly and helpful. we had a small, cozy room under the veranda overlooking the Lahn. the shower was mini, in the bathroom there was no socket for razor or your own hair. Shampoo and body lotion were on 2. Day of stay not refilled. that was addressed by us during the reception. they were responsible for the cleaning staff. we talked to the room cleaning staff, they told us they had the instruction not to follow the consumer goods. on the first evening we ate in the on-site restaurant. We were served a cold meal and a warm Grauburgunder. the dessert, hot apple strudel with vanilla ice was also cold. we have addressed this at the reception, and we have received the answer that gastronomy is not directly part of the hotel and therefore has no 4 stars. That sounds like a mogel pack for us. On the 2nd day we eat out. the breakfast buffet is nothing special. on both days, both the hard-boiled eggs and the agitator were cold. pointed out the failure, the controls do not correspond to the warming tanks to the temperature. the pair at the neighboring table was taken for three 5 minutes until you finally fit. the restaurant we really cannot recommend. the wave area is small. There are only four lounges. the sauna is mini and old. the massages are carried out professionally in the nearby hotel lahnschleife by a very beautiful Romanian lady in beautiful surroundings. she works for the minimum wage. If we go, we should pay a bottle of water that was included in our agreement and which we did not consume at all. also on the bill of the restaurant was a contribution we did not have. Watch out! we also left the content of this review about a feedback sheet on the recipe. So far there was no reaction bad for 4 stars from management. all in all, the stay at the Schlosshotel was quite beautiful, but far away from 4 stars.

I stayed at the Schlosshotel because of an egg load of the city of Weilburg. Since I did not expect great demands on this one-day stay. Fill the hotel with my ideas. The location (in the centre of the city) is particularly noteworthy. Also that you have a free parking is very positive. Unfortunately, the bed covers are typical German. The ceiling is too small. Only to whom I lay bed, to be covered, and from then on you will not be moved under the ceiling. As soon as you turn in your sleep, the ceiling is gone. How the Germans can sleep under such a small blanket will always remain a mystery for me.
